IMPORTANT PATIENT UPDATE
Practice Changes Effective October 1, 2026
We want to let you know about changes coming to our practice.
Starting October 1, 2026, Kimberly Butler, PMHNP, and Margaret Lang Smith, PA-C, will see patients at Midtown Psychiatry Offices of Bend. They will continue to offer both in-person and telehealth appointments.
Bend Psychiatry will also continue. Dr. Barrett will offer in-person and telehealth appointments. Dr. Monteverdi will offer telehealth appointments only.
During September, the Nudge AI receptionist will help answer incoming calls. It will gather the information needed to assist you and securely send your message to the correct provider or staff member. The AI receptionist does not make medical decisions or replace your provider.
We will generally respond within one business day. Messages received Friday through Sunday or on holidays will be handled on the next business day.
If you have an emergency or feel unsafe, call 911 or 988, or go to the nearest emergency room.

MEET RAM — OUR NEW PATIENT SUPPORT TEAM MEMBER
We are pleased to welcome Ramielle, who goes by Ram, as our new Healthcare Virtual Assistant. Ram is a trained pharmacist with seven years of behavioral health experience, and is experienced with our current EHR system.
Ram will help answer phone calls, schedule appointments, receive refill requests, respond to general questions, and make sure messages reach your provider.
Beginning October 1, Ram will provide live phone support Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Ram can gather information and route requests, but all medical advice, medication changes, refill approvals, and treatment decisions will continue to be handled by your healthcare provider.
